R. Joe Sandberg, B.Sc., MBA, AIPG – QP
Mr. Sandberg has been involved in exploration development and project management in the mining industry for over 40 years. Mr. Sandberg has a B.Sc. in geology, a MBA and received his Certified Professional Geologist designation through the American Institute of Professional Geologists. He has extensive experience in both base metal and precious metals project development in open pit and underground situations. Mr. Sandberg has managed the Copper Creek project since 2004. His previous experience includes management positions with Franco Nevada, Normandy Mining, and Newmont.

Thomas Ullrich – Geology Advisor
Mr. Ullrich has over 20 years of experience in mineral exploration and geoscience. He is currently CEO of Aston Bay Holdings Ltd., where he is exploring for sediment hosted copper and zinc in the Canadian Arctic. He was Chief Geologist North America for Antofagasta Minerals plc for five years, investigating the region’s copper potential through extensive property evaluations and management of drill programs in Alaska and Canada. Prior to Antofagasta, he was Senior Geologist for Almaden Minerals, where he managed the drill program for the team’s discovery of the Ixtaca Ag-Au deposit in Mexico. Mr. Ullrich also established the Ar-Ar geochronology lab at the University of British Columbia and studied the Candelaria Cu-Au mine, Chile, while at Queen’s University. Mr. Ullrich is an Elected Director on the Board of the Association for Mineral Exploration BC.

Colin Burge – Geology Advisor
Mr. Burge is a discovery oriented exploration geologist with 30 years’ experience in project development with the First Quantum Minerals and predecessor companies.  Mr Burge was part of a corporate development team at Inmet Mining Corp. that discovered and delineated more than 30 billion pounds of copper at the Cobre Panama Project in Panama leading to First Quantum Minerals $5 billion dollar acquisition of the company.  He gained valuable experience working with First Quantum for 3 years as the project transitions to a mining operation and has excellent technical skills in exploration data management and the application of exploration tools as well as a strong ability to think creatively.  Mr Burge graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Earth Science in 1981 and is a licensed professional geologist in British Columbia.

William W. Willoughby, PhD, PE, RM SME – Technical Advisor
Mr. Willoughby is a professional mining engineer with 36 years of experience in the mining industry. Registered Professional Engineer, Mining, in the State of Idaho since 1985. Doctorate in Mining Engineering and Metallurgy from the University of Idaho (1989). Recently President and Chief Operating Officer of Enexco International, a copper and uranium exploration company purchased in 2014 by Denison Mines. Eighteen years with Teck and Cominco. Extensive experience in evaluating opportunities and finding solutions to mining problems. Owner of Willoughby & Associates, PLLC, an Idaho registered engineering firm specializing in technical studies for mineral resource management. Director of Vista Minerals Pty, Ltd.

Terence Ortslan – Engineering Advisor
Mr. Ortslan has been the Managing Director of TSO & Associates, an independent mining and metals research firm since 1996. He is also a Director of Karmin Exploration Inc., Legend Gold Corp. and Silvermet Inc. Prior to 1996, Mr. Ortslan worked as a mining analyst with a number of respected investment firms including BBN James Capel Inc., Loewen, Ondaatje McCutcheon Ltd., Merrill Lynch, Wood Gundy Inc., Jones Heward & Co. and Maison Placements Canada Inc. Mr. Ortslan obtained a Bachelor of Engineering and Applied Geophysics degree in 1972 and an MBA in 1974, both from McGill University.

Joseph (Joey) Wilkins – Geology Advisor
Mr. Wilkins is based in Tucson, Arizona and he has worked as a geologist for 34 years, including 23 years with various entities of Rio Tinto Exploration (Kennecott Exploration and US Borax). A graduate in Geoscience from the University of Arizona, Mr. Wilkins has extensive experience in exploration for porphyry copper worldwide, Au-Ag epithermal deposits, Ni-Cu-PGM deposits, and borate deposits. He was based in Mexico for 6 years with an emphasis on porphyry type systems including work on Penasquito and peripheral to Cananea. Later, he led brownfield or ‘near mine’ exploration peripheral to Bingham Canyon in Utah which ultimately led to the discovery of deep and high grade Cu-Mo ore bodies.
